I have a like new NP34, which is a sig p228 clone model. Fire a few shots only. I was trying to do some dry fire(without snap cap) practice at home then find the gun shoot out some tiny stuff. Then find out the fire pin broken. :-((( . This np34 is the copy of sig p228 which is a West Germany model. You can tell by finding the extractor is hiding inside the slide, it will not show up from the right side of slide.

I was trying to drive the pin (it is not a roll pin), out from the left to right, which is the way it supposed to be. Then I found myself in the middle of mission impossible. So I have to try to drive the pin from right to left. With a brand new bought hammer, 16pb. After the pin coming out, I found the pin was bended, so does the punch. That is how hard I hammered on the slide. It looks the midwayusa is running out of stock for a fire pin. So I have to wait. I couldn’t find any other place have it available. My np34 will sit there collecting dust for now. Too bad so sad.

I have some pictures, I post rest after.

I have snap cap, but I did not use it. I was being lazy. Lesson learned.

Not an expert..but i think sig pin would fit or there are canadian importers who have the pin. Getting it from a US where Norinco is a no no for import is like ...not a very good idea.

Can't recall on top of my head if the sig pins would work. I think they do with minor mod. (See a thread i have on NP22/34 with some useful info on CGN in one spot).
Also check Marstar and other sponsors ..they should have it.
