Np58 Sig Clone question

I recently shot 50 rounds through my NP58.
Awesome fun gun.
I Understand that the sights wont be zeroed upon arrival, but this shoots aprox 12" low at 20 Yards [using bench rest]. I see the sights are adjustable for windage and I understand how to adjust that but how would I adjust the Elevation? The way the rear sight sits in the slide, there is no way to raise/lower.

OEM Sig sights for the P226 come in variations two height front and three heights back, so you may need to get some more appropriate sights. You may also find this reply to a similar problem of value.

Just by chance, each sight has a number, could you kindly advise
what the # is on the front and the # on the rear. What "Sight Picture"
are you using? Standard "Dot the I", or "three dot night sights". I have
always used for for shooting the tip of the front sight is is aligned with the
two tips of the rear sight, with equal light on either side. Ignoring the dot,
or the alignment of the three dot system. There is a very distinct difference
between a "Combat Sight System" than a "Target Adjustabe Sight System".
According to my Sigarms Sight Adjustment Tool Information here is the
following: ELEVATION: For both the front and rear sights, 30 different height
combinations are available.The sights are numbered in according to their
height. A change in elevation is accomplished by changing the front or
rear sight. It is reccomended that the rear sight be changed first.
Simple rule, "NUMBERS UP, IMPACT UP; NUMBERS DOWN, IMPACT DOWN".
I would suggest as was mentioned in the other post, practicing more before
the expense of replacing sights. It may be a little shooter error such as
trigger squeeze, anticipation, etc.

Thanks Jeeped, I forgot to add i had other experienced shooters try it and they verified it is shooting abnormally low.

Jeeped, further research i did completely supprts other SS users using the "Dot the I". This ABSOLUTELY makes sense and does two things for me.
Raises the point of impact when Dotting the I AND makes target acquisition SO MUCH EASIER and FASTER due to my eyes getting completely blurred and distracted switching between 'three straight dot' and my target.

Dot the I, simply put is AWESOME.
Thanks for educating me on this as i would have bought sights to accomodate the '3 in a row' dot i was accustomed to

I can acquire a target WAY faster now using the Dot the I sighting vs the 3 in a row. I probably look like a fool if anyone looked in my window aiming my gun at the TV practicing the Dot the I [trig locked of course]
