I picked up a couple of these to try out in a KPOS chassis system. KPOS ordered and I will see if I like it before ordering another one. I'm less interested in these handguns than I am in the 7.62x25 cartridge, I think it will make a cool PCC. They are typical Norinco, kinda crude but functional. Just waiting for the KPOS and some ammo to arrive. One thing that I hate already is the huge grips. Anybody replace theirs with something a little slimmer?

I swapped out the factory rubber thingy right away and it will definitely thin up the grip a bit. I ordered a pair of wooden Punisher grip from Thailand through Ebay. The grip itself is not functioning extremely well as a grip (still works if the hands are dry enough) but the meme factor is high enough. Since I cannot (and won't) shoot this in IPSC so this is only a range toy and I am keeping the wooden grip on. Due to the 7.62x25 round's length you really cannot get to the same grip size like the NP22 but that whole rubbery front finger grove part is totally not necessary and making the overall grip even worse. If you can somehow fits the E2 grip kit (You must replace the main hammer spring assembly) it will make the back even thinner but good luck with that... I tried the kit ,while works on the NP22 it won't fit the 762.

Thanks, are your grips specified as Sig 226 style ?

The factory rubber thing has unnecessary material on the front with the finger slots and also the rear. Just regular grips should think it out, hopefully.

Put these Sig 226 grips on mine, somewhat thinner then the overmold rubber ones. But the oversized mag well is a nice feature that I’m liking!
