NR AR worth the extra cost?

That's me running a cost benefit analysis of the situation. Don't want to buy a pretty new toy and then have Trudolt take it away from me is all. Guess I'll stick to the newbie section until I'm all grown up.
Also love the weapon shops of Isher quote, my dad had a huge book shelf of sci fi when I was growing up.
How can someone take something from you, that they don’t know you got???

Just carry on if you are really interested...
Everyone goes through a rough patch on cgn... it's a rite of passage lol
Did WendyCGC get pinked yet? Lol

Get the first one that makes sense for your initial intent and budget...

Your wallet will get destroyed from there...

Roger that. Endure, buy everything.

A NR receiver set makes for a less reliable rifle?

Im doing an MS-18A3 build off my Slick Side receiver set. The set won’t be here until summer but I have everything to build it and the cost isn’t up that high. I think even with the bench vice, armours wrench, and retention rod to assemble it I still haven’t gone over 2K.

Just looked at this thing. If I read correctly, the only thing that wont fit on the AT15 is an AR upper? If anyone knows for sure let me know.
And as a recent inductee to the AR world, is a barrel extension just a barrel?
I may have to order one.
ya, the upper/lower won’t mate with an AR.
Most parts fit, there are a few minor nuances.
Barrel extension is part added to your barrel, so that it can be attached to your receiver,

The MS is a nice piece of gear.
I had an SS build with a CFW barrel and ended up selling it.
I just ordered an FA set and am thinking of doing a 6.5 Grendel build.

Buy an AR now, and other a set of MS receiver.

I personally shoot at gun clubs only, R or NR doesn't make a difference to me.

And I am only interested in 5.56 that are shorter than 14.5" bbl, mainly 11.5". You will never get to play with the very cool stuff if you only play with NRs that are almost a meter long.

Yes. i guarantee by the time he is half way through waiting for his MS receiver set, the itch will be strong.

OP - buy the gun that you're going to use as the donor for the MS receiver and shoot it until the MS becomes available.
