It uses the pencil profile the exact same as my 14" rifle (less the lightweight G36 Buttstock).

They are Preston Precision Bren 2 Rails out of the States. ######### Armory out of Penticton has them on their website and will import for the advertised price in USD.
Those things are sweet. They really complete the look. I really wish CZ would have kept the more military correct 2S instead of the changes they made to the MS.
Agreed 100%. The Rails were worth the $100 USD price for me to get the correct military configuaration of the Bren 2. Although functional, I was very disappointed with the deicision to offer the Bren 2 MS with a purely civilian MLOK Rail, The Preston Precision kit from AZ#### Armory in Penticton corrects that unfortunate situation.

The 14" Barrel length with Bayonet Lug is designated as the Czech (and presumably the Hungarian. Ukrainian and Pakistani) Service Rifle. The 11" Barrel is regarded as the Service Carbine. I do not know the specific designation of the 8" Barrelled version. All Barrel-length versions appear to be trickling into service with Ukrainian forces, particularly the Foreign Brigades and Special Purpose units.

It took sone elbow-grease effort to get the first couple out' rthen I realized that I was dealing with Loctute. I applied moderate heat with a torch thereafter and things went much easier. You won't have a problem so long as you have the correct driver-bit.

Why does your 14” rifle not have a bayo lug? Every picture of the 14” ,whether 5.56 or 7.62, I’ve seen has it.
So, I acquired additional 5.56/.223 ammo in order to shoot some of the much-exalted 10-round groups with the R18 Mk2 Production Rifle with heavy Barrel profile. Here are the results at 100m with PMC XTAC 62gr "Green Tip" FMJ ammo. There are 3 declared fliers, which are circled on the target. Excluding the flier, the Left (1st) group measures 72mm / 2 7/8 MOA. Including the flier, the first group measures 85mm / 3 3/8 MOA. Excluding the fliers, the Right Group measures 2 5/8 MOA and with the fliers it spans 17mm / 4.5 MOA.
Here are the results at 100m using Federal 69gr Gold Medal Match ammo. The Left (1st) group was a "transitional" group where the Barrel was being re-seasoned for the Match ammo. I find that full seasoning often requires at least 20 rounds to attain consistent results with a new ammo. In this case, the transitional group measured 55mm / 2.50 MOA without the declared flier, and 87mm / 3 3/8 MOA including the flier. The last "seasoned" group with match ammo produced a 43mm / 1 5/8 MOA 10-round group. Pretty much identical to the 1-1.50 MOA 5-round groups that I had reported with 69gr Match ammo in my follow-on "Redux" Accuracy Review of the R18 Mk 2. So much for 10-round groups telling a fundamentally different tale....
