nr ps90

Are all you guys sure you know what is involved to take the old barrel off??

The 16" has a barrel shroud. It is not the barrel that you see. Then close to the flash hider is a permanent pin. Not one that you can just take a punch to it.

Then you have to have an ultra slim wrench to fit to hold the barrel while all other parts could go flying. Lastly that is even if you can break it loose without slipping.

So unless the people asking for a kit already did the 10.5 in barrel themselves don't think its as easy like other firearms...

I agree. The 16” conversion process is a bit difficult for people without the correct tools. Also navigating the deregistering process seems a bit of a major difficulty. So I would definitely think a ship in and conversion/deregister process would be the best option, with barrels/kits for those that want/dent the service.

Also, is it possible to make the fake can a separate order/package? Plan to just through an A2 FH on mine.

Sort of off-topic but I think a better value for those looking to shoot something like 5.7 is to try to import the new Ruger 5.7 Carbine. Not sure if it's even on the FRT yet but if you can get it with an NR barrel and it would be like a $1350-1500 rifle on the market with 10 round capacity vs the PS-90's five. Although I know the PS-90 is 100 times cooler.

I had none of these issues.... I converted my 16" to a 10.3" in about 20 minutes.... actually one of the easier guns to do in my opinion.

Looks pretty easy to me, what if I take the barrel off before sending it in?
And maybe just send in the receiver to save a little on shipping it out.

Edit, better barrel swap process https://youtu.be/g9b8cYjLLJw

I’m in for one already converted I don’t have the knowledge to change the barrel and navigate the derestricted process, also the side by side is bonkers with how ridiculous our gun laws are that 2 inches is all it takes to be restricted
