Hello

On august 2nd the Granby shooting club will be hosting a NRA ACTION PISTOL event

we will be shooting 4 stages

-Practical
-Barricades
-Falling Plates
-Speed Load event

we cannot run the mover in due to our great Gestapo (Provincial Police)

so please make sure to have a mag holder on your belt for the speed load event
this event goes like this...

distances 10-15-20-25

10 yards---2 round per target freestyle, reload , 2 round per target weakhand 14sec
15 yards---2 round per target freestyle, reload , 2 round per target stronghand 16 sec
20 yards---2 round per target freestyle, reload , 2 round per target freestyle 18sec
25 yards---2 round per target freestyle, reload , 2 round per target freestyle 20 sec

total 192 rounds
20$

So because it moves across the range you can't do it?

I believe the issue is there CFO mandates all shooting is to be from the covered rear of the range.
It's a pain to set up the Barricade stage with four separate target stands spread across the range, but do-able.
Four separate mover tracks, not so much.

no cause we cannot move back is more the issue
i would have enough space to have 4 mover at every distance but i don't have the money for it
and i'm starting to bring back NRA ACTION PISTOL matches back in the province

That really sucks guys. Have you tried to explain that this is a precision shooting event? Maybe they can make an exception for your matches.

Alberta and BC CFO's have approved 7 yard targets for Steel Challenge and Cowboy Action Shooting. They had a 10 yard minimum before.

The CFO here's thinks and hope only police officer are good at shooting..........they are not willing to hear us cause they know what's good for the safety of the general public

Must be a hold on from The "Ray Days" and they now what is best for us. The morally superior party knows what is best.
