Well day one is complete. Each squad shot 4 ranges worth - about 6 to 8 stages. Lots of sun.

I managed to shoot one stage 3 times - a new personal record. Shot it once. ROs changes the clamshell target presentation so everyone who had shot it got a reshoot. Then one target didn't present so I shot it once again.

Once again, Jim S set up a great long course with lots of poppers, partials, cross activators and movers. It got real easy to shoot it once you really looked at it. Mike S figured it out, after he had shot it himself.

Anyone out there have any photos or video to post from today? My camera stayed in my pack for some reason.

Just finished up day two. Everyone (OK some/most) are now on their way to Curley's for the awards banquet. Today I managed to have three too many misses (one medium course - crap) and I managed to start an entire long course without actually putting a loaded magazine in my Para. Still shot it well, once I loaded the damn thing.

Does anyone know how far the steel popper was set on range #1? This was the short 9 round course, stage # 3 or 4 I believe.

Range 1 is a 50 m (+/-) range and the start position was about the 40 m line so the popper was somewhere around 35 m down range, maybe a few meters more.

I managed to hit it with my first round. Caught me off guard to the point were I hesitated moving to the wall for the 4 papers. One of my few good stages, at least as far as I can tell while waiting on Sean getting the scores out by e-mail. I had to pass on the banquet at Curly's

We can actually get 60 + / - yards out of it.

I did attend the after match meal/awards and took down some of the results. I think your initials are M B. If thats the case I have your placing and final percentage. Send me a PM and i'll get that to you.

Sean
Not sure if you designed all the stages or if you had help. Either way, my compliments, another good Provincials. I was glad to see some steel at distance.
