Nscc 2011

Longshot
CFRC results were posted daily by an individual (Jim Thompson) who had taken on the burden of daily reports from the matches for years. Not a DCRA TR issue.
Would like to see someone at the NSCC take on the same duties so we could see how the boys are doin.
I tried using the DCRA office lobby computer and the link was very very VERY slow.
Saw Hungry there trying to use the wifi.He probably had the same snail mail speeds.
A few Ontario people there for the Precision Rifle matches and am anxious to hear how things are going.
Would be great to see some results.
Thanks
Gord

Gord,
Given the opportunity, there would be many that would be able to post the results. All we need is the results in electronic form, and rights to post to the DCRA web server. If the DCRA is wary of given access to their server, then stats could email or transfer to me, and I could post them on GunNutz.
I would gladly take on that burden.
Dave

Hi Dave,
Not sure how you could get the electronic version through the office, but if you could get ahold of Jim Thompson or contact Betty or Aaron at the DCRA office and see if it can be arranged?
If DCRA is concerned about opening sight to you, then maybe just post them on here???
Would be nice to get some color commentary as well ,it would really be great.
Thanks
Gord

Yup, I got going with the signal and could check the action here on CGNutz. Now if we could just get the results in electronic format, then Shelldrake needs to be pointed in the right direction by the powers that be....

Cheers,
Barney

even though my results aren't as good as I wanted it was great to see Hungry and Tiriaq not to mention shooting with some of the best Canada has to offer. Too bad LS and shark bait could not be here to see LFWA lead the way in wins and match domination!!

308 cowboy cleaned up in both Service rifle and sniper.

JayT: I gotta see them SR scores! Glad to have met and spent all that time on the line with you and Cpl TB. It was truly and enjoyable experience and that's what the sport is about.

PS: I put in a good word for ya for that .260 build ;)

Great NSCC! Always an excellent opportunity to meet folks, put faces to names. I was quite pleased with my pistol shooting, my sniper scores really sucked, and service rifle was so-so. Had a disaster while doing the walk back zeroing for SR. Actually I did the walkback twice with two uppers - a new upper with a Leupold 1 1/2-5 scope that I had only put 50 rounds or so through, second with the upper with F-M scope that I shot in '09 and '10. Familiar with this one, comfortable with it. It was bang on at 100, 200, 300, and then tanked at 400; a lens cell has come loose inside, can't even see through it. Too bad, it has given excellent service. So, I went into the matches with an untried rig with only approximate zeros. Thought for a moment that my 50.3 in Match 7 might be good enough, but not when two others score 50.6.
As usual, there was some remarkable shooting.
Ate too darn much, as usual.

Good shooting to all competitors at NSCC, it was a blast! My Elcan took a slight bump and i lost my zero at 300+ so it was guess work from there on out.

Good shooting guys!
