Ntw-20 Anti-materiel Rifle

Try Anzio Ironworks. Hey Rick, maybe you could be the approved canadian manufacturer for this rifle.

I know Mike at Anzio pretty well, he can not export the technology due to US restrictions. That being said a bolt action on serious steroids is not all that hard to make, I just don't see enough market here to warrant the expense of making some.

From experience, if you think 50 BMG is spendy to shoot, it pales in comparison to shooting a 20mm

Great post thanks

The other gun that fires 20x83.5 is also pretty impressive. The GA1 is comparable in size and weight to the Browning M2HB, yet it is a 20mm cannon instead of a .50cal. MG. It is an improved version of the German MG 151/20 fighter gun from WWII.

Wow, it does look remarkably similar. That's Halo right? Never really paid much attention to the guns in that game since they were all so sci-fi.

Anyhow, the consensus is that the firearm would probably be Non-Restricted but getting ammunition would be extremely difficult/impossible in the 20mm variety? I honestly don't need this for anything specific, I just got my hands on a bit of cash here and I want to invest it in a "big boy caliber" rifle that's fairly exotic.

I guarantee if you were transporting that out to the bush to go shoot some targets, in the back of your truck, you'd be pulled over RIGHT away.. pretty cool looking tho. I'd be pretty nervous pulling the trigger, guarantee I'd have to work pretty hard to work out a flinch with that.

Only if you were transporting it wrong... The barrel comes off the rest of the system quite easily with the aid of one of the shell casings (would probably keep a spent one or dummy around for that), then you can stick it in a gun case. You wouldn't have any problems.

I'm sure that you may be asked to take a step back and explain the firearm though if some LE personnel showed up at the range that day for whatever reason.
