Yeah, like putting bumpers, triggers, stocks, barrels, all to make it shoot better. Sold mine and got a CZ. Way more accurate out of the box without doing anything to it. I still have a semi but it is an old Cooey 64. Way less reliable but again shoots real good out of the box as long as you keep it clean. The 10/22 is a nice reliable semi tinker toy ideal for people that like to do mods themselves. So many people make better parts for the gun than Ruger does you can spend $1000 on a $250 rifle. I am not fond of aluminum and plastic on my guns. All 5 of my 22s are steel and wood with the exception of one plastic DM.
