I think he makes a few points, albeit they are often buried deep within a 30 minute youtube video. I find that often he can identify points to people new to firearms or a particular calibre's model lineup that the viewer may not have known. He certainly isn't the only source of that info, CGN and other sites are great, he just provides it in a different fashion. Overall, he's entertaining and makes his point, people just need to remember its one opinion and to take it as that.
Point of reference for me, when I was new to .22's, I didn't know much about the aftermarket support for different models. 15 minutes of viewing suggested the 10 22 had the most with a list of recommended brands, which was validated through CGN and Rimfire Central. He identified a few easy mods which are generally accepted to improve the gun. You won't see me running around the woods practicing for a WROL situation as he does however...
