Hey guys, I think I have a few gremlins, and need some advice. First problem,(magazine, I believe) I'm shooting, gun fires, slide comes back not quite half way. Empty still in chamber, about half way out, and snug to top round in magazine. Mag wont drop, but seems like its a mm or so low out the bottom of the mag well. Lock slide, drop mag, cleaning rod to push out empty casing. I made a mark on the mag and did not use it for the rest of the shooting session. No more problems with ejecting. Tried rapid fire, limp wristing really bad, and couldnt make it stall. So, do I blame the magazine?? If so, is there a way to resolve the problem?? Also, I noticed a few times when the girlfriend was shooting (load mag one round at a time, makes her happy) she would fire, and the empty casing would fall out when she hit the mag disconnect. Kind of weird hearing bang without the clink clink of brass hitting the floor. All ammunition was factory, and I couldnt get it to do that for me, loading one at a time in the mag. Thoughts, fixer tips appreciated. pm's or open posts fine. Thanks in advance

Likely she was limp wristing the gun and there was not enough resitance to ensure a good clean eject, the port is rather small.

I have had a similar problem but I haven't been to the range since to figure out if it was one clip or not. I was assuming it might be the extractor. If the case is left in the chamber my extractor will not slip around to grab it. I will have to angle the extractor so that it can. I do notice a difference in my clips when I load them however. I can get the last rounds into one more easily than the other and just can't get the last round in one. I plan to fix this when I have some time. Just looking at my magazines one has the follower sticking out further. This is just a guess but the lips may be bent different such that the cartridge can stick up too far and catch the round coming out of the chamber.

Yeah, my mags are tight to load the last few rounds, after 100 rounds or so, I'm loading 8. I think its to do with the 10 round limit, and the only thing between legal and prohib is if the mag went down another half an inch. I kept the casings, and the ejector mark looks like its sliding off the rim. So your guess sounds very plausible. Have to see who chimes in and schools me on tinkering with the magazine to get it to feed better.

I never had a single hiccup with the one I bought. 500 or so rounds and never once did I have a jam, double feed or FTF.
