O/U shotgun self-defense hypothetical question

Say you have a O/U shotgun with one fixed full and one fixed mod barrel. Your the type of guy who likes to use both a loaded buckshot tube and slug tube. Which barrel is best suited for that purpose and optomises both possibilities given the constaints?

or
full-buck/mod-slug

factory slugs can generally be fired out of a full choke without problems. I'd probably go with the mod/slug full/buck, though, as i've found slugs to shoot best from cylinder bore, believe it or not. In a defense scenario, it doesn't really matter, as most shots would be within 10 feet or so. Regardless of choke, buck at that distance is going to all hit pretty much touching anyway.
