O/u shotty

Whilst I'm all over education.....really......you're a dealer, and if a shotgun uneducated buyer comes into your store and asks for a shotty...you kick em out? No offence, but wouldn't it be better to explain the error, then sell them something for your trouble..?.oh and isn't it "cabelas".. See how easy it is....lol

Didja.......didja ........ didja read that?
Wow, anywun that yewses the werd "Whilst" can yewse shotty, whinnie, and 4x2........... yeewowzers.........."whilst"........ I like it........

It still sounds uneducated or deliberately ignorant to me, to refer to a shotgun as a "shotty", no matter how long the terminology has been around. Referring to cartridges as bullets is equally irritating.
People tend to use slang and short form acronyms in every aspect of work and play, if it bothers you that much, I suggest you should learn how to deal with stuff like that.

I have been struggling with the same question as the o.p. and oddly enough I have a Baikal I use for trap, I am relatively new to trap shooting but I do enjoy it. the single shot is actually the preferred trap gun of choice at my range, the o/u comes into play for skeet, I cannot see myself getting into trap deep enough to spend a fortune on a o/u. my time at the range must include my rifles and handguns as well, the biggest problem with all this is that there are WAY too many toys required, lol. my wish list still includes a decent o/u, a 44 mag revolver and a win 30 30. by the time I complete the wishlist someone adds more stuff to it, its an ongoing struggle! not to mention the "good deals and must haves" that come up in between the wish list items!!! its exhausting!

Hi westarm,
What model baikal are you shooting...I have a twin trigger o/u 12 gague, model 27 ...I know it's a no frills shotgun, but robustly built, and flawlessly reliable.....I'd recommend it as an entry level clay gun to anyone.....I traded my maveric for it here on ee...I've now decided I like clays a whole lot, so I'm saving for something a little slicker...probably gonna keep this one though...for guests ect...

hi, my baikal is a mp-18em-m, actually i don't mind it because i am very used to it now, and i do agree that your double trigger o/u Baikal would fit my bill, i tried twice at auctions to buy an o/u Baikal, but apparently they are worth 70 bucks less than brand new all dinged up, lol, i appreciate the praise on those guns, it would work for me for sure thanks, it would be all i need
