Just looking for input good or bad on some different trap gun recommendations. I 've been shooting trap off and on for years and have decided that I now want something dedicated just for trap/ clays, until now I've just been using the guns I hunt with and I shoot 22-24 steady but need to step up a notch now that I'm doing it more often. I'm leaning towards the beretta's and brownings but with all the different models and grades it gets a tad confusing. Here's my criteria: good quality, nice wood, NO automatic safety,12 ga. 2 3/4 ", screw in chokes, low recoil. Right now I'm using my 391 Urika with a shell catcher so anything is going to be an improvement I suppose, I just don't want to buy something and then find out that I want to "move up". I'd like to keep my price point under $3000 and would prefer used as opposed to giving the gov't all that tax, I'd rather spend the money on ammo! Any experienced input would be greatly appreciated.
