O/U turkey choke problem

Every year I wait till the last second usually getting my gun ready and taking a couple shots at the range the night before the opener to make sure it's still patterning right.

Not waiting till then this year.

So here's my problem, I've got both an Indian Creek and a Primos Jellyhead choke for my O/U and guess what, since they're extended ported chokes you can't fit the two onto the barrel because they're to wide and hit each other.

I thought about the Primos Tightwad, it might clear the Indian Creek on the top barrel, only problem is that it looks like there isn't one in a Beretta Mobil choke anywhere in Canada.

Thought about a flush mount as well but Carlson only makes a turkey choke flush mount in Stainless steel and as anyone here knows that hunts turkey the smallest flash from that stainless is gonna have them looking directly at me.

Anyone have any other idea's?

Im with looky, black out the shiny one with some marker. Or put some electrical tape over it.

Turkeys are wary but i had a missfire and had to rack a new round into a mossberg 500 last spring while leaned out from beside a cedar tree. The male paused, clearly knew i was there, but then continued going to town on my avian hen while my puny funky chicken watched. I nailed him and that was the end.

If they like your setup, i doubt a little flash will scare him off.

Ya, I guess thats about the only option, if I had thought a bit before buying the gun I might have a semi auto right now with no problems instead of the O/U.

My Browning BPS is my go to anyways but I wanted to try that O/U out this year.

Izzy, ya, not much distracts them when you have an Avian X hen out in front of you, had 6 horny jakes about 10 ft away from me last year trying to mount the poor girl.

Shiny choke has never stopped me from killing a tom.
Run the extended choke you want and a factory full flush choke in the other barrel and use a flight controlled wadded shell.

With a flush mount choke, there's no extension.
Choke is not visible. Just shoot a handfull of cheap shell to blacken the interior

I hunted with a Citori Lightning for few years. Assuming you have a barrel selector I went with an open flush mount choke in the top barrel and an Indian Creek in the bottom. 2 options depending on the distance.
