I noticed the Zombie Supply Canada is doing a preorder on mags from a Company called Oberland Arms. They are preorder for both 5/20 and 5/30 magazines which cost $35 each or $300 for a pack of 10. Just wondering if anyone has tried these mags out before?

The OA website states:

The OA-Mag is not a Magpul-Product, nor is it licensed by Magpul Ind. in any way or did Magpul Ind. provide any help and assistance in developing this magazine. The OA-Mag will only be distributed to civilian customers in Germany and Europe.

Zombie Supply Canada Website states:

The high-strength polymer body withstands heavy use and has a two-sided viewing window made of Makrolon ®, which enables the simple, visual inspection of the level. The cover protects the OA-Mag from the ingress of contaminants and protects the lips magazine when the magazine is stored filled, the durable spring ensures constant spring force. The shorter, 20-shot version of the OA in caliber .223 Rem Mag. and .308 Win comes with a special base plate, which limits the capacity to 10-shot. The bottom plate of the capacity of 20 rounds is every magazine.

Figure they are cheap enough to "replace" all those expensive P-Mags people are selling :D

looks like the fix the pricing so it reads 35 each and 300 for 10. Still a good price compared to the market.
European make is nice as-well not a cheap Chinese version. Found more pictures.

It looks like Magpul developped this entire magazine because it's a near exact copy of 'em.

They're still $35 each, I'll just wait until the panic dies down and buy some PMag M3s for their regular price. If you really need magazines right now and are willing to pay $35 for these, go right ahead but being patient is always the wisest of decisions.

Aside from that why can't you just go along with its great to see other options open to our market when someone is willing to step up and take a chance with some other product? Man there is nothing positive on this site Just everyone jumping at the chance to throttle everyone down

Considering I paid $20 for my PMags, I wouldn't pay $35 for anything else.

Most places are raising their prices for version 3, plus windowed mags have been selling for more then regular mags for a long time, and when was the last time you say a 20 round magpul around. Both these designs are decent prices for the AR market

Canadians have been buying magazines before December 2012 you know, and most could be had for around twenty bucks. It's good to see new magazines being sold here but when they're $35 (or $30) a pop, I'm going to wait until the panic dies down. When it does, the availability of every other magazine is going to be there and their prices will be normal again. Like I said, being patient is always the wisest of decisions. If you really want some magazines right now and just cannot wait, then that's your problem and you'll pay the price. People pay $50 for a PMag on the EE, don't they? I bet they really needed those PMags. Don't get your panties in a twist.
