A topic came up in a thread that I didn't think of before in the precision forum regarding measuring consistency issues using bullet tip to case base in that, especially with boat tail match bullets, not all bullets are equal length.
Because of that, if someone is trying to get equal round measurements while reloading, they may actually be altering their bullet's distance from the lands for different rounds.
We're talking very small amounts here, but for some of us OCD target reloaders its another one of those never ending variables for reloading.
I've heard of some kind of gauges that measure differently. What are my options?
