can someone tell me how to get a ccw? for canada and the u.s?
Ive asked around and noone knows.
 
There are a lot of information on this site that covers this and more. Do a search.

For Canada you could forget ccw. For the USA you may be able to get one that covers a lot of States but not one for the whole USA.

Good luck as far as California goes. Unless you are related to Arnie I don't think you will be getting a CCW.
 
Hey California open carry with no permit is legal...

course it has to be in an area with less than a few thousand people in an unincorporated town.. so maybe with a map you could get it done...otherwise live somewhere else.
 
Our website shows all our CCW certifications across Canada as well as our other classes. Although our certifications give you the best intel and the most US coverage, there is a national reciprocity bill in committee in the US Senate. Once this goes (if it goes), we will have coast to coast carry privledges.

Regarding a Canadian ATC (authorization to carry), Section 20 of the firearms act talks about it and they used to be given out decades ago (Pre-Liberal governmental supremacy mental illness era). They are allowed to be given by the CFO as a mere attachment to your PAL and ATT. The type 2 is obtainable for wilderness protection in association with a job. The type 3 (personal protection) permit is pretty much impossible for now but we will be launching a challenge on it at the right time.
 
Ya, think you are S.O.L. on CCW in California. California is really anti gun. Check out the packing.org site. Lots of info there but can be a bit hard to find what you are looking for at times.

There is talk of a CCW or CCW related (personal protection) forum. I don't know where it is but was told it should come up in the political section soon? Anyone else have any intel?

We are exploring a challenge regarding Section 20 (ATC). The right timing and right approach including instructions regarding Part 2, 4. a,b are. Our CCW cert/lecture as well as the advanced force-on-force is a combination of training drills from US Air Marshall, RCMP, POST, FBI, and other standards and as such should exceed the training requirement. The only areas lacking would be a review of Canadian law and perhaps a specific live fire qualification.

Where does it say that Washinton state only honors the Utah ccw permit if an alient firearms license is purchased?

That confuses me, Safeguardguy, does Washington State honor non residents with the Utah ccw license or not?
