Obtaining a muzzle break for 45acp 1911

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where in Canada I can obtain a muzzle break for my nonthreaded Colt 1911 45acp?? I saw a great setup where the break replaces the plug at the end of the 1911 and only adds an inch and a bit to the gun..unfortunately it is in the USA. I appreciate anyone's help in finding one.
 
I think that you are referring to the muzzle break that replaces the barrel bushing. You can usually find them
on Ebay.
I tried one years ago & in my opinion they do little to nothing.
 
Those are generally regarded as ineffective as there is no restriction chamber to force gases out the slots. They need to have a bore sized baffle at the front, and the only way to get one to be effective is to have it concentric with the barrel. Means either a threaded longer barrel or a "bull" type without a bushing. No easy solution.
