Obtaining License Question...

Greetings everyone

Wife took, and passed the CFSC on Monday. She is scheduled to do the Restricted course within a few weeks. My question is this:

Should we get the licensing process started now (as is recommended to shorten waiting times) for the non-restricted license, or should we wait until she has done the restricted course as well and apply then?

The other option (not sure) would perhaps be to send in the application now applying for a restricted license and follow up with that paperwork when it becomes available.

Thoughts? What's the best option????

I haven't been through this process myself, but I have friends that have, and they've told me that RPAL wait times are much longer, and that people are better of to get their PAL first, so they can at least go shooting with NR while they wait on the RPAL. I'm sure there are probably varying opinions on that.
