Just checking to see if anyone knows where I might find some one in Canada that might sell new or used octagon barrels. I found one in the US and after a year of paper shuffeling the supplier gave up because of the run around there state depertment was giving them. They say that since 9/11 there state department is really hard to deal with on foreign orders and they now have given up trying to ship barrels, recivers, and bolts new or used out of threr country. Any info will be greatly appreciated .

Try one of the gunsmiths that is able to import stuff from Brownell's - like Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply - you'll have to give him the item numbers. I've done it in the past.
Steve- might not b what your looking for,I have a couple of NEW Winchester half/oct barrels from their Heritage Series that are blued,threaded,chambered and all dovetails cut- in 38-55. 26"long. Winchester marked and "1 of 1000" over chamber. Pending divorce has sorta brought plans to build his/hers to a screaming halt. Extractor cut for angle eject. $400.00 shpd. Will b away till end of month...
