anyone try out the Oculus Scopes! heard they were decent!

Haven't tried them but for what it's worth, they are BassPro's house brand. This alone causes me to steer clear.

my uncle has one on his 22-250 and we were ringing steel at 250. but he was talking about upgrading later in the year!

I had a look through a couple of the ones at bass pro, I really wasn't impressed by their glass at all, they had better cosmetic appeal then performance. Function of the magnifying rings and turrets seemed decent, but the glass seemed comparable to 20 year old tasco's that came with some old .22's.

You'd be much better off with a cheap Nikon/Redfield/Bushnell, unless your putting it on a .22
