Odd Mosin Marking... Any Info?

Hi All,

Picked up this Hex receiver Izzy Mosin this week, and noticed an odd symbol on it, and have had no results with internet searches.
This one has next to no non-original markings (i.e. refurb markings), however the number 5 in the Diamond on the top of the receiver is what has thrown me for a loop.
Not a Mosin virgin by any means, but not sure of that marking.
My gut is telling me it may be a Polish markings, however I cannot verify.
Any help/knowledge?

Diamond 5...diamond 3 maybe polish proof marks but no one will ever know for sure. Boris didnt keep records, boris like vodka. Ive had all kinds of weird marks on refurbs that may never have any explenation outside of their defuct arsenals. Thats why mosins are so interesting...long pasts and memories taken to the grave.
 
that indicates a replacement barrel or a ftr, if memory serves, by a polish factory.

the poles did a great job on all their refurbs
