Odd pistol stamping - Need Serb translation

I have a unique 1922 with cryllic lettering. I contacted someone who spoke Russian and was assured that it was Serbian, not Russian. If someone could PM me, that'd be great and I can send a pic.

I got this back from my buddy who is Serbian.

It says VOJNO = MILITARY and DRZAVNI = GOVERNMENT and then the serial number.

I only sent the one pic with the writing on it, since the other clearly showed french writing on it, from FN.

Hope this helps. If you need more my buddies father is an ex police officer and still lives back in Serbia. He might be able to give you more.
