Hey fellers, do any of you have access to a Hornady loading manual?

I picked up some of their 265gr. jacketed bullets for the ol' 44...but can't find much on-line for data...could any of you take a quick check and provide some suggestions? I don't want to buy a manual just to shoot these bullets if I can avoid it, I have too many of the darn things already...

Hi H-110 at 1200fps use 21.2grs
1250fps use 21.7grs
1300fps use 22.3grs
1350fps use 22.9grs
1400fps use 23.4grs

Win 296 is the same powder as Hodgson powders make both of these. This is for the Hornady .265 gr Jacketed Bullets #4300.. Hope this helps you there other loads with different types of powders but H110 and Win 296 is all i use for the hotter loads .This is out of the Hornady Loading Manual ....

The 265 gr interlock was designed for 444 marlin velocities; design performance for 1600-2400 fps IIRC. You will likely find that the bullet is too hard (i.e. will not expand reliably) at 44 mag velocities (1400'ish).

You can definitely load and shoot them, but that is why you will not find much data for it.

Hmpfff! I just punch paper with the .44 so I am concerned with accuracy only, guys. And for some reason the big Blackhawk seems to prefer them over the standard 240 grainers. I would like to lay my filthy grubbers on the heavy 300 grainers just to see what they will do...thanks for the info Rigmover!!!
