Hi all,
Can someone please tell me the dimensions of an AR detachable carry handle?
Specifically I need to know the overall length (OAL) and the distance between the two mounting/attachment screws.

I have an idea for it that will either make me look brilliant :D or like a dolt :p

WOW - this is odd. I just happen to have a ruler and an AR15 w/ detachable carry handle at my desk.

I'm not even kidding.

6 15/16" down the center of the base. Because the back (sight portion) is curved it's shorter on the sides. Sides measure 6 7/8" at the base.

Distance between mounting points (center to center of bolts) measure 4 11/32".

Should be mil spec because it's off a Stag.
