Odds of steady Chinese ammo supply despite American panic buying?

That's a shame. Do you shoot rimfire? Or reload? You've offered some sound advice on this board over the years, some of which I've benefited and profited from, so I'll offer you this in thanks: If you don't do either of the above, you should do both. Soon as possible, and often as possible!

I've also given some bad advice too ;) I'm only human.

I reload (lots) AND shoot rimfire. Thing is, I only shoot enough to maintain my level of skill or to experiment (see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOtKC3ZWZng). I don't do as many competitions as I used too, and even when I do, I don't care for score - just that I'm getting valuable practice and making sure my kit is in order.

I try to never shoot factory ammo. Factory ammo I think is (and will be) the easiest stuff to trade/sell, especially if TS doesn't HTF.

I agree that whether TS hits TF or not, as with all inflation-prone commodities, ammo will appreciate nicely in value over the years to come.

Glad to hear that you reload and shoot the cheap stuff! I'm actually overburdened right now on factory ammo, and a little thin on components... time to change that.

As for competitive shooting... it's not about being the best, but about being better than you were yesterday.

I'm actually in the opposite situation. More components than I can process, on a relative basis, not as much factory ammo. A few crates of Nork .223 should top me up pretty well. Sucks I just had a small windfall after the best deals.
