Confirmed the date, COF is under development, hope to see a good crowd.

First-come, first-serve for squadding. Registration starts at 9:00, shooting at 10:00, breakfast is available at the club as early as 8:00 most weekends (the old cook is back, and she's great).

Looks like it is a Handgun/Carbine match BTW. Acrashb can correct me if I'm wrong.

No idea on round count. :)

From the flyer: "Here’s your chance to do some running and gunning with your carbine and handgun"

Also from the flyer: "Approximate round count: 75 Carbine, 50 handgun"

Next year the action range may be ready for use, so might do a three-gun. Or might just keep it two-gun and stretch some of the stage designs.

I was wondering why so few guys had posted the night before the match, turns out reading the date is fundamental. Well if there is an award for showing up early to a match, I'll submit one week. At least there is a clay shoot going on, not that I brought the right guns or anything :)

Good technique on the clays - if you are that fast and accurate on the ODPL targets next week, you'll do fine.

On my end, some of you received an email stating an incorrect (sep) date for the match. The match remains on Aug 14, next Sunday, as per my followup email.

And another bump.

Range is setup; typing up the final COF right now. limited movement, one "novelty" stage (e.g., with the simulated ballistic shield - and for other reasons you will have to watch where you step), three that are largely move and shoot with one novelty aspect (tossing a training grenade into a milk crate). Round counts are enough to be fun without so much it drags on.

See you all tomorrow.

Glad to see all the people at the match. I hope you all had a great time, even if I didn't DQ those I should have :p

Where are those images of the signatures who shot the props? (4 times in one case)... :)

Prop image (showing the now-infamous "mebiuspower notch") will be up when I've processed the pictures. Pics and scores in a couple of days, I have some "real" work to attend to at the moment.

Great match, fantastic help from the shooters (patching etc.) and special thanks to those in the last squad who were able to help with teardown - really sped things up.
