Can you elaborate?? what did they say it looked like, length, color etc? I know that there are deep underwater caves connecting most of the lakes around, so a transient ogopogo could exist. Although It could also be and EXREMEMLY old sturgeon
 
I don't no what the ogopogo is but if I can find a mythical creature it would be a super model that cooks cleans (very well) sucks f*cks has new 4ax4 truck quad and boat who isn't afraid of getting dirty and loves to shoot guns and patron

I can't agree with the above. The entire northern BC boondocks is leased by game outfitters. There is not one area where the game is unknown to them.
For a hundred years, from the 1850s to the end of the 1950s, the entire wilderness areas of all of BC was laced with prospectors. In the 1950s more than one of the old time trappers and prospectors who still lived in the northern bush, told me that every stream in BC had been prospected for placer gold...No, very little remains unknown in our "wilderness" areas.

So even if the area was wall-to-wall prospectors as you say, that period ended over 50 years ago. Today there would be countless animals in those regions that have never seen a person in their lifetimes, which was the criterion stated.

Even ignoring that aspect, consider how many people live in rural areas in prime cougar country, and have never seen a cat. A large hominid with the stealthy nature of a cougar, combined with a presumably high level of intelligence, could slip through the cracks indefinitely.

No matter how you slice it, there just aint no sasquatches, big feet, or any of that ilk in BC, or any part of Canada.
It is one of the very many unproven theories we hear on CGN. And if a theory can't be proven, in this case after 150 years, then it is just a theory and nothing else.

There's a theory to which many subscribe, that states that there are no such thing as sasquatches...but you cannot prove a negative.

There's an alternate theory, held by many who have strong feelings on the matter, that they do exist...which hasn't been proven either...yet.

Personally, I will never say "never". I earned a living installing, modifying and maintaining commercial and industrial equipment, the operation of which depended upon a well-known, but UNPROVEABLE, theory that posited the existence of a mysterious natural force called "electricity".

I'm not saying that i necessarily believe in the existence of sasquatches...but if and when I shoot one, I'll be sure to send you an invitation to the initial unveiling.:)
 
The Ogopogo sightings all happen when I whip it out to take a pee in the lake.


Seriously though... I think some sea beast is more reasonable than a hairy stinkin ass running around in the bush.

I tried hunting for Santa but no luck. Something must've tipped him off so he never showed and as a result I didn't get that open minded double jointed super model I asked for. Double lose for me. :(
