I load ball powder in my practice ammo for my AR15 rifles and use Remington 7 1/2 primers (also called baby flamethrowers) and as long as it has a flash hole somewhere in the base of the case this primer will set the world on fire.
And in my bolt action .223 with single base powders I still use the Remington primers. And for some reason bench rest primers don't do a thing for me even with centered flash holes.
