So I've received my 1st PM of a guy bashing me. I however can't figure out how to report the guy to the mods and how to block him. Help please?
 
I would click on the CGN logo to get to the main page. Scroll to the bottom where the active users are listed. Click one of the bold blue names, those are the active mods. Send that mod a pm explaining your situation and the name of the offending party.
 
Yea just PM a mod and tell him. When you PM a mod, they can check your inbox. I'm with Winchester-1897 on this one, just curious what did he do?

without getting into it in detail here is the gist of it.

I'm selling a gun with a bunch of gear.

the guy saw my ad, wasn't interested because he is broke and has no money, so indead of moving on to the next ad proceeded to write me a message telling me that i'm stupid and taurus is horible blah blah balh.(his wording was much more offensive)

basically the fact that he has no life and therfore took it upon himself to send me a message about a gun he had no intention of buying, just to tell me it's a peice of garbage is what offended me. the guy also only has 4 posts and no trader rating so therefore he is a noob. the mods need to teach him a lesson.

If i see a gun that is waay overpriced and i have no interest in buying i dont' send a message telling the guy. I let him figure it out for himself when it doesn't sell.

I agree that is a little off side. Sounds like a troll. You should out him if he persists.
 
I've pm'd 2 mods. I think the 1st one went offline just as i was sending the message so i sent it to another mod who is online. I'll wait to hear what they have to say
 
I was wrong he's not a total noob. been aroudn since 2009 and a trader rating of 4 and postcount of 4. I still consider that a noob though. Can Can is the Mod i sent teh PM too i just got a reply saying he'll look into it. if there is nothing they can do i'll tell ya who the guy it, but i'll try and let the mods handle it 1st. Honestly the message isn't that bad, it's the fact that the guy went out of his way to insult me and my choice in firearms that pisses me off. it's like a guy waving me down on the street just to tell me my truck sucks.... if i could punch him in the face i would lol
 
Probably just a case of vocal diarrhea. Not their fault, it is a condition that many are born with and to this date is uncurable. There have been treatments to slow the progress but it appears that this eventually relapses and the condition will continue on as it originally did.

I am not a doctor but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once.

Ignore feature is a wonderful thing or reply back and say "you know what, you are 100% right, have a great day!"
 
yup it is. I have him ignored now anyways, but i still think he at least needs an infraction. I've gotten 2 in the last couple of weeks for things that were honestly meant as innocent jokes, the fact that he deliberately went out of his way to harass me makes my blood boil and i won't tolerate it.

Wow that guy does sound retarded.

A. He shouldn't care that you have a gun that he thinks is a piece of junk.
B. If he cares so much, he should be happy you were selling it.
