Wow! I think you should just deal with him quietly on your own, rather than attempt to illicit sympathy for your opinion and bolster your poor self esteem. Really, if that's all it takes to set you off, it may be time take a good look at yourself. Feel free to bash me, it makes for good sport.

well i was planning on dealing with him quietly but i didn't know how to ignore him or find a mod(see my origional post) but everyone seemed so curoiuse i figured I'd let them see what it said. I never said he wanted to rape my sister or anything in his PM and i kept telling it it wasn't that bad, it the fact that he went out of his way to bash me that pissed me off. I've never dealt with him before and have no brackground with him. if we had history or had started a deal and it went south i coudl see it, but the fact that i did absolutley nothing to him ever is what pissed me off. some guys are just ignorrant and always will be. I'm generally a nice easygoing guy, it usually takes a lot to piss me off. For some reason this pisses me off.
Whoever sent that PM is a freakin idiot and shouldn't be around CGN much longer. How very rude an inappropriate of him. I guess some people out there lack any class whatsoever. 
On another note, I too have sent PMs to some junior members who posted a WTS item at 2 or 3 times its' the actual value and couldn't sell it for many, many weeks afterwards. I offered them a polite point of view about their asking price and suggested considering other options... even if I had no intention to purchase whatever they were selling myself (I consider it just a friendly gesture to people who obviously need a little guidance). I have always received a thanks from such members.

It just comes from the frustration of dealing with cowardice. As you had illuded to earlier, most people wouldn't speak their minds; at least not that crudely, face to face. I am in agreement with you regarding that type of behaviour. Have a fun weekend and forget it 
By the way... in your WTS ad, do you think it's prudent to post a pic of the actual serial number of your Taurus? I just clicked on the link in your signature and that's something which struck me as a bit... unusual.
You wouldn't want another gun with the same serial number to be found at a crime scene somewhere, now would you? A valid (as in not reported stolen) and registered serial number on a handgun could be potentially very useful in the criminal world to avoid suspicion and extra criminal charges. Just saying...

Don't you hate non-constructive criticism. If your gonna come out and say a firearms sucks then at least give some reasons why you think that way and it better be first hand experience as I get sick of reading all the bashing of firearms by people who have never owned said firearm.

and yes non constructive critisim is useless. I know my price is high. that why i added make an offer. I'm not ina hurry to sell it anyways. it was ny 1st handgun. If it ends up I have to pay someone to take it off my hands i'll just keep it. it's not that big i can still find a spot in the safe to stuff it.

No kidding.....specially since you posted it in the WRONG FORUM!
What is really sad however is NOBODY bothered or thought to tell you to use the REPORT PM function. That little (!) in a red triangle at the top right of a PM.
