Offensive video

As has been said, things like this shouldn't happen at a supervised range, but #### happens. I think it takes a big man to step up and admit that mistakes have been made and changes put it place, and for that TSE has earned my respect. JR could just have easily swept this under ther rug, but the fact he showed some integrity and didn't says a lot.

Don't flame me please but, I'm pretty sure the shadows of other people there are those of the camera crew and set people. I would think the range and the store were filmed after closing time for certain scenes and then spliced together; he's wearing eyes and ears and then he's not. Lastly, good or bad, wright or wrong, it is considered music and therefor falls in the freedom of expression category of rights, just like our rights to own guns and such. My thinking is, if a video like this was to be filmed, better in a closed range environment, under supervision like this one; rather than 'god forbid' on the street or some makeshift studio, that can't take any precautions for safety. Did anyone notice that neither of those two actually pointed the guns at the camera, at least someone there was kind of thinking. At the end of the day it's just a rap video, i've heard worse and I've seen worse acting too.

The video was hard to watch, but by no means does this justify some of the responses in this thread. Everyone knows gangsters are idiots, but its some of the "responsible" gun owners in this thread that make gun owners look bad. Get real guys. Just like the liberals punish responsible gun owners for the actions of murderers and thugs, you guys are punishing TSE for the actions of these so called thugs.

Not sure how this would scare anyone away from using a public range if you havent been turned off by them already.

Props to JR for not hiding this video and dealing with it in the open.

My my we turn on our own quickly. Most will agree that this wasn't a good thing but it isn't the end of the world either. Sh!t happens and he is dealing with it. Perhaps we should try to support him instead of lynching him?

Totally agree, if anything I dislike wanksters even more. Clearly this was a slip up, but they've already done their best to remedy the situation, and frankly my opinion of TSE isn't affected.

I will start by saying the owner of the range is not to blame here.

Employees can mess up a business better than anyone with their "bright ideas".
The only way to make sure employees don't do anything to destroy the owners hard work is to be up 24/7, invent a cloning machine and staff your business yourself.

Business owner have it rough. Until you have walked a mile in their shoes, the haters posting on this thread should be less harsh with their comments.

The amount of employee incompetence, bad decision making and plain indifference employers battle every day to keep their business on track would blow your minds.

If a business owner is lucky, over time you end up with a devoted competent staff. It's unfortunate it take this sort of thing on occasion to weed out the bad apples.

Beyond that, the video is a complete joke. Those are just a bunch rich cream puffs unfortunately using a good business to shoot their moronic video.

Someone with editing skills please re-cut this video to pointing out how lame it is, by editing dresses onto these losers and edit barbie dolls into their hands were the guns were. Post is on you tube al let it go viral.

Well, if it helps... (although I didn't watch the whole video) I didn't know the location was TSE.

Regardless, the vid is goofy and I personally wouldn't hold TSE accountable or think any less of them for having had this video shot in their establishment. Despite waving the firearms at each other and the camera, at least theirs fingers were off the triggers :p Cheers.

Wow. So much hubbub about nothing. I guess if some of you guys had it your way, there would be no guns in movies or TV, or at least they would be trigger locked, no mags and the actions open. Oh, and certainly they wouldn't be pointed at anybody...

Its the fact that he holds up a gun and states that " If I move to your neighborhood, ###### move away". I he moved to my neighborhood and started to posture with those rented guns he would be in a shallow grave by night.

Wow! I'm a member at this gun range and I am surprised that this happened. With all the cameras in the place, I'm surprised no one stopped them. who was the range officer that day?. it's people like this showing poor gun handling makes other people think bad about the sport.

This is just pathetic bunch of wanna be gansta's make a ####ty video with rental firearms. Really the RO at the time should be fired and I think this orginization should be punished for allowing this kind of activity to happen at there facility.

It should be noted that this happened in 2010.
Policies have been ammended, staff educated, and the calender replaced a few times.
If you were thinking about "joining with your 3 kids" last month, why not still join?
Would you cancel a planned vacation to Germany if I show you a video about what Nazis did in WW2?
Sure this video has only just been (re)released, but people insisting that they will not go to the store until everything has been changed or after this has blown over are kinda out to lunch.
Personally if I was JR I would not have made this post. For the "rappers", any publicity is good publicity as the saying goes.
Had he silently dealt with youtube in the background without a couple thousand CGNutz clicking the link and driving the video to 5 digit veiwership, noone would have noticed it. As it is now, the video might be hitting thresholds of veiws where it will begin appearing in searches more frequently even with a bunch of negative reviews.
Just my thoughts.

Agreed, better to have dealt with this privately. We all just drove up the views and now you are losing business after cgners form opinions based on the video. Lose / lose situation.

Umm did you watch this video at all? that white kid was waving that ar around with a closed bolt and mag in. If i was at a range and someone was lazing me like that I wouldnt even hesitate to fire on him.

Well good luck defending that in a court;-)

I wonder what the Ontario Provencial Police CFO office would think. There appears to be many safety violations and since I use this facility I will be contacting the CFO.

Actually; it's a win/win for the owner of the range, and to be honest I'm suspicious. I'm to understand after so many youtube hits payments are made to whomsoever made/starred in the vid. So, If I'm going to sue someone for liable in court, It doesn't serve much purpose if that someone is BROKE (read obscure) right?
Speaking to the flip side of this win/win scenario, If the owner looses the case he has just increased his businesses exposure to the public which in turn equates to dollars in his pocket.
I would think that if the owner has no ulterior motives then he would have simply taken G rapper camogoof aka arsehole to court and been done with it! Why the need for the publicity? ;)

Wasnt too impressed when you had your Tango down "french is axis of evil" Tshirt sale...

Now this?

Seems like lack of judgement is a criteria to work at your store.

To CADPAT: Do this and you can find yourself a new gun range...coz they will close this one for further evaluation.
