"Gas operated" means that it uses some of the gas/pressure expelled from the firing of the first round to cycle the action and load another one...vs. you having to manually do so.
No worries...have had people in the Armed Forces ask "where does the gas go?" when they first get their C7 "gas operated" rifle.
I have a couple SKS's, so i know about "Gas systems". The video i posted above is for an pellet gun, and it uses batteries. I was even thinking "i didn't think guns took batteries!"..newbie noob noob...regardless, i can't wait to get it. And 'NO BATTERIES'!
