**OFFICAL*** The Type 97NSR is Non restricted!!!

Glad to see its approved, however the placement of the controls (safety and mag release) make no sense to me... Norinco needs to send a few of their people to school to learn ergonomics.

Dude, it's a weapon. A screwdriver is a tool. A T97 is a weapon and there is no wrong in admitting, nor callin it so, nor owning one in Canada.

Cool weapon... Gun or whatever. Would love to shoot one!

Weapon is an anti term, which makes the lay man fearful of guns. firearm is the appripate term.

I bet the cgc has pee in there pants on the news this is non restricted.

Gonna throw in my two cents here. This rifle is ugly as sin. The safety is in a totally stupid spot. Also no conversion for us southpaws leaves me unable to shoot this thing unless im shooting off shoulder.

However I will say this. The price of a g note for a bullpup is most excellent. I hope that this rifle is sold to masses in truck loads. I for one cant wait to see them on the range. The more bull pups in Canada, the better for everyone here. Thanks to North Sylva for bringing these in at a fantastic price for the masses.

The negative posters on this thread really need to give their head a shake. This is a celebratory announcement thread by NS to let us know that the stars have aligned and we have a non-restricted Bullpup available for a grand. If you are upset about the placement of the safety, ergonomics, prettiness, etc, save your comments for someone who gives a $h!t and quit clogging up this thread!
