**OFFICAL*** The Type 97NSR is Non restricted!!!

Is anyone thinking of giving the plastic part a paint job? I imagine an OD green would be quite nice TBH, or FDE just to match the Tavor.

What is the difference between the Norinco and Dominion Arms version?

Nothing but the name from what I understand. Canam is bringing the 97 under the name Dominion.

I hadn't thought of that yet - would be cool to see. Krylon Fusion has worked well with my dirt bike, and they make camo colours.

I'm quite new to painting firearms parts. How good does Krylon hold up against solvents? What is the best brand to use if solvent is an issue?

We finally have received word from the RCMP that our most recently sample of the T97NSR has been deemed a non restricted firearm and it has been officially classified as such.

Production on this model is already in progress, and should be in stores mid summer at this point. All those that have been on the fence, can now pre order in confidence.

Please note, if you are pre-ordering ensure you are ordering with a dealer that is selling the T97NSR, the T97A is still a prohibited firearm.

We at North Sylva are very excited to bring this long awaited bullpup to the Canadian market.

Enjoy!!!

I'd make sure I got that in writing on official RCMP letterhead with a signature.
I wouldn't be investing heavy based on a phone call.
Unfortunately I don't trust the horsemen as far as I can throw one of their horses.
It's not as if the Mounties haven't gone back on a classification in the past.

It is in writing. Those with access to the frt database can attest to that.

Well.............now that all the dust and smoke has cleared and it wud appear that it is a non-rest rifle, the main question is..............WHO HAS THEM FOR SALE AND AT WHAT PRICE????
