Hahahah....biggest smile in the world. finally recieved my bushmaster xm15, and i am really pleased! i ordered it from frontier firearms, it is the A3 shorty w/20 inch barell. i dont know but i cant stop fondling it....am i crazy? i have also purchased a lee load master kit, and am going to start reloading right away too, for the first time. very excited to say the least, did i already say that? what i am wanting to know is what is the best bullet weight, powder mix, and who sells brand new brass for a decent price?it has a 1/9 twist barell. i will be mostly doing 100m or closer shooting, but am also going to be joining a 200, 600 m range, soon, and will need loads for longer distances too. thanks guys, here are some pics of her.

Just the stock/barrel combination seems odd. I'd say try the collapsing stock on it, will give it more of a carbine feel, or whatever suits you. Be sure to shoot the crap out of it first before accessorizing. The first rule of Zombat is the KISS rule.

i always keep it simple stupid....thats why i went with the A3 so i can take off the handle once i am bored of open site shooting. i have a friend who just got out of the reg forces, and he just got an EOtech. so he is selling me his aimpoint for 175$ he also has mags comming out his ass, is giving me 5 or 6 of them.(30) rounders...pinned to 5 of course:rolleyes:

That's a great deal on the Aimpoint. Great optic for Zombie headshots BTW and if the battery goes down you can use the tube as a ghost ring for fast follow-ups.

To swap the stocks out is pretty simple, AR-15 has an illustrated how-to in the build section.

no matter how many AR's you get..there are still many combinations out there...

Just got the 10.5" LMT from Questar...not out to the range yet after a quick tune up back at the store....

and still waiting for the upper from SOCOM to come in....

then there are the optics...the BUIS of course..the front grip...figure out which way to mount my light...etc...lol

all the fun stuff..

Have fun with it.

For 1:9 twist barrels 40gr to 69gr is a good choice, I use 55gr FMJBT just cause they are cheap and within this spec. I have an armalite 11.5"er and with these rounds and good mags it functions flawlessly, yours should too.
