You still have your index and thumb, I fail to see what the issue is. Can't you use your index and thumb to reload and rack the slide when necessary?

The splint is such that I can't get the two digits clear of the splint to work the action. Also, since its a broken bone in the hand all the bones are tied together and when I load the two digits I have left the load is transmitted throughout the hand. I was told if it happens I will be prolonging the healing process, maybe causing a simple fracture to go compound.

Okay I've got it.

1. Disassemble your firearm and take the slide with you to the doctors who worked on your hand.

2. Have them mold a cast over your splint with some kind of notch or shape which can grasp the slide to pull it back without using your fingers.

3. ????

4. Profit.

... that is actually a pretty cool solution. Now I have to figure out a way to do this so that the Doc doesn't freak right out...

The only thing she didn't like was a Kimber 10 rd. Magazine.

I had to adjust that Kimber magazine that I gave you to work with that pistol. You will probably have to do that with the ten round magazine.

However, when you bought it I did mention Wilson Combat and Wilson Combat only with that pistol. Kimber is over priced and over rated.

Yeah, you did say that... I just figured that the kimber would be okay with her because of the one you handed over with the pistol. Mind if I ask how you adjusted the magazine to fit the gun?

She still shoots awesome. I like it better than any other I've handled so far.
