So this came in the mail today. It's a 4.5" Alfa Classic in 9mm from Wanstalls
It seems to be a decent fit and finish. While it's certainly a long way from a Smith and Wesson it's at least as good as I expected for the price.....about 40% of the cost of a 986).
I see what people mean about the DA trigger pull. Man! it's got to be at least 15 lbs. Why would anyone ship a gun that way? SA is a little heavy as well but a decent break. .I may well look into a spring although I tend to shoot SA 98% of the time
The only issue so far is that they seem to have torque'd the screws in the side plate and the cylinder crane to about a zillion lbs. I'm not sure how I'd get into the gun to install the spring kit or even get the cylinder off without tearing up the screw heads. (I hate slotted screws!)
