WL,

It's interesting to see the area you're hunting, video tells a lot more of the story than just the still pics. You've inspired me to do a bit of filming this fall to show you our thick and steep stuff and maybe a bit of the grasslands. Sorry for the Tasmanian's bad luck, I had something like that happen once(I don't like to admit it but it happened).

What camera are you using? It seems like they're mostly a trade off these days, rugged GoPro type with no zoom or made for indoors kid gloves kind of filming.

Thanks for putting up the video

I think you and I would get along just fine in the back country. Fine stag. Well done.

HAAHAHA too funny.

mate, Nothing else can be Hunted up in there! Theres only "Alpine Dingoes" but mostly Wild Dog decendands.. they are believe it or not, Off limits.

further east there is Brumbys on the Main Devide, currently in a big number an Parks and Wildlife are culling 6000 odd.... which is F/A of the estimated 100,000 brumbie mobs.

Sambar Deer are the next "big threat" if you Ask Parks and Wildlife and their future is in the Balance... You see once they declare them a Pest, We can no longer hunt them in the National Parks......
although common sense would prevail in "permits or tags" for National parks, I should think.
