I recently bought a Glock 22 :D and was wondering if i should switch to a grease type lube or stick with the old Hoppe's #9? Any suggestions...

You should pretty much run the glock dry. A wee bit of oil on the slide rails and disconnect and that's it for lubrication. No need for grease. Rub a bit of oil on the rest of the metal to protect it and just shoot the heck out of it.

I've been using Shooter's Choice grease (syringe applicator) on my centerfire handguns, Glock 17 included. I put a dab at all the spots recommended in the Glock manual and spread it around with a Q-Tip. I find CLP and other oils tend to bleed out all over the whole gun. The grease stays where I put it, doesn't evaporate, and lubes just fine. There is no concern over rust on a Glock.
