OK, elephant truck gun time...

In a game park in Namibia, our large tour bus stopped near the lions (50 yards) but we were not allowed to get out of the bus and honestly the thought never entered my mind.....

I have video somewhere of myself and 3 coworkers driving through one of the parks, with lions blocking the road and swiping at the tires as we drove through. - dan

My Smith and Wesson 29-3, 44 magnum. One shot, up and behind the eye will do the job, if not; there will be 5 more to follow-up.

I was in the same Pilanesberg National Park just outside of Johannesburg in 2009, but not drama like that although it would not have been hard for a Lion to jump down on the vehicle for a snack. Well we saw no Lions, but Elephants off in the distance, Kudus, Giraffe's and springbok or gazelles. Took some great pictures but made the mistake of leaving the memory card in the little cannon 745 automatic (great pictures) and the Camera was lost or stolen going through airport security on the flight out. If you there great park to visit for a Day
