Just to be clear this is not a rant or complaint thread! I am just looking for some confirmation that this is the Norm for CanAm, and that I have nothing to worry about.

................................................................

Ordered on the 7th, and today was the 15th.............

No order info available under my profile on their site.

Can't find my order info when searching order history on their sites tool.

I am pretty sure I was told 3-4 days for processing at the end of my order, but I am pretty sure that has gone by now, and still nothing.

Interestingly enough I prefer to order over the phone with an actual person, but when I called I was brushed off, and told it was "EASIER" to order on their site.

Is this normal for Canada Ammo?

I had issues with them in the past and told myself I wouldn't order from them again, but was impressed with how they have handled a couple things on CGN and with their new site, but now I am not so sure......

Did you get a confirmation email of your order? Cuz I recall always getting an email confirmation if the order has gone through properly. I may be confusining Canada ammo with another site though. But it's just a starting point. I'm sure they'll respond here. I've always received everything I've ordered from them online.

I ordered on the 6th Jan, got an email that my order was received but not processed. I know they are busy so i called yesterday just to check said it would be picked this week. Now i see what i ordered is now out of stock. First time using them i hope i am not disappointed.

Yeah, found the confirmation Email from the 7th.

I punched in my order number on their site, and it comes up but, thats a week now, and the order has not been processed?

Meanwhile I ordered some slugs from SFRC, on the 11th, and it shipped today.

My concern is based on the past issues I had with them selling me a product that was not in stock, despite being told it was, and still charging my credit card. If I hadn't called to check on the order, I would have never known, and who knows how long I would have waited..

shot show this week..... They will propably anwser next week... they are 14 to 21 days late presently... be patient.. and wtih your receipt (confirmation email)... no stress !

I have ordered from them maybe 8 times in the past, it's always the same, nothing to worry about. I too ordered the 1,600 rounds of .223 last week, will probably be shipped by the end of the month, just have patience.

There's another 10 page thread talking about slow processing/shipping......do we need another?
Its normal, expect it even slower with the great deal they just offered on the bulk .223.

Am I the only one who thinks that in this day and age that is a little bit unacceptable?

14-21 days?

WTF?

Want some cheese?

If you ordered on the 7th and they have several days of processing time, be patient. I've ordered from them many times (even during the holidays) and have always had my items in a timely fashion, considering the circumstances. Have patience. The world will not end if your items aren't in your hand the minute you click submit order.

WOW!!!! The number of people #####ing at dealers unable to receive - process and deliver orders in a couple days. What part of they are busy and they will get your goods to you in a reasonable time are you not grasping.

My order for .223 is in and patiently ( grasp that ) without online whining is in.

Cheers..

Ordered on the 2nd of Jan.
Processed - Charged and payment completed
but no shipping or tracking info.
Order No 3953241 if anyone in CanAm wants to check.
Paul did email me a few days ago that they were a bit backlogged.
(I didn't know that the ON CFO staff moonlighted at CanAm.)

Be patient. They're good to deal with. Never had an issue with these guys. Just be calm have another beer and spend some more money online

Your absolutely right..
It's unacceptable. All the fanboys will line-up with every excuse under the sun for these guys but, at the end of the day, it's crap service. If their lucky enough, in this economy, to be back logged with orders they should be hiring more help. They seem to be very efficient at charging your credit card promptly though! Maybe they can build on that.

Gee, I found this on their site
Phone: 1.866.960.0045 wonder what that's for:confused:
not trying to be a smart ass just saying if your worried........
Paul has always be more then helpfull over the phone a quick call could clear it up in a hurry

placed a $100 order Jan 3, received email saying it has been processed on Jan 13...... still no word of delivery.

i'm not very impressed... but considering the mental state of things, i'll let it slip. that is of course if i have it by the weekend. ;)

i did call and they did say that they are on it.

Normally I would read only and not post but here is how I see it. If you don't like their service. Don't buy from them again. If you don't mind it, Deal with them again. I've never dealt with them personally but it seems by the amount of posting on this thread a lot do. Call a spade a spade it's probably based on price so you have to expect if they put up a good deal, tons of orders will pour in. In turn this will cause back logs in processing orders. Unacceptable? That's in the eyes of the beholder IMHO. Remember how long it takes to have a pal, rpal, transfer completed(especially in BC or Ontario). Bottom line nobody is forcing you to shop with them. I'm sure they appreciate the business but it could be overwhelming. To play devils advocate a business should communicate delays. Posting on their website or by email is a best business practice. Communication is the key in all circumstances.
