Ok guess this is normal..... You can delete.......

I agree that it's crap. Ordered $1500 worth of stuff from CanAm Jan 3, and called in to nuke the order a week later when they hadn't even gotten to charging my card. Ordered some of it from Ammo Source instead, and picked up the rifle locally for $100 more. Not the end of the world.

There is no excuse for poor service. I don't expect it to ship tomorrow but I do expect things to progress in a weeks time.. sounds like the OP has been more than patient.

Just my 2c :)

What do you expect? 1,000 orders in 3 days. Of course, you get it right away if you pay more. Good boy. I prefer to wait and get a good price, they won't charge you b4 shipping, all freakin whiners.

pfft. The difference isn't worth the B.S.

We all support what's important right? Some people are willing to pay for good service. Simple as that. You can call them whiners, and they can call you cheap. At the end of the day, its all about what the customer is willing to pay for.

Have fun waiting.. ill think of you while im having fun shooting :)

Can't believe all these grippers, they're at the Shot Show and they said they sold 100's of crates so that in itself is going to take a while to process. I'm in for 5 cases and not bothered at all, so it takes a couple of weeks maybe even 3, look at the $ you're saving. If you want some ammo right away call up Lever Arms they have cases of Norc 223,763x39,762x51 and Yugo 8mm. Mind you it's more $ and they charge for shipping so if you're so impatient cancel your orders and pay thru the nose.

People have been waiting long before the SHOT show, that is a viable excuse. But the weeks before were not, if you cant handle orders then hire more people. Look at the money your saving? It really isnt that much.. 20$ on400$ to wait a month and get poor service isnt worth it. If it is you are cheap.

Well I saved about 60 bucks. Before the shot show people were panic buying the 7.62x39, im sure they sold 100's of cases of that too. Im down for waiting if it means 60 bucks saved, got plenty of ammo to use in the meantime anyway.

And thats fine if you are willing to wait and dont need it, but they should be warning people that they are way behind on the website for the people that dont want to wait a month.

$20? You're saving $80 because Chris lowered the price from $499. So $80x5=$400 plus taxes, that's what I'm saving on this month's deal. Cheap I don't think so and worth the wait.

OP had a legitimate question, thankfully there were numerous mature responses. Too bad there were way too many fanboys and trolls trying to up their post count or needed to beat their chest.

CanAm has good price, free shipping but slow shipping. Thankfully they always deliver for those that plan WAY ahead.

In comparison have to be impressed with American companies; take one of the largest being Brownell that consistently ships same day; or take TitanReloading, a mom & pop shop, also same day shipping. NOW THAT's service.

The case that i bought was 20$ cheaper on CanAm then the other place i went after waiting. Like i said, if you are willing to wait that is fine, but they should be warning people prior to ordering they are a month behind on orders and to take that into consideration before they purchase.

My order was not for ammo, and I am not saving S&^T!!!!!!!

I ordered a F'n shotgun, and I would like to shoot it while it's still warm here.

I don't mind a short wait, but now I am being told 3 to 4 weeks to fill an order? The more I think about it the more I find it unacceptable. I am gonna have to call and get clarification straight from them in the AM.

In the meantime I have ordered 2 knives, some shotgun slugs, and an sks from other places, and all have been processed and shipped.

All the excuses about shot, or influx of orders don't mean a damn thing to me. If they aren't set up to handle this kind of business they need to change their policy. Their email says 3 days/72 hrs. They failed. Plain and simple.

For all you fanboys this is what the email I received stated:

All orders are manually processed normally within 3 business days. You will another notification by email as soon as the order is processed.

You can check your order anytime at the top right of our site with your order number and postal code.Thank you for your order. We will be manually processing your order within the next 48-72 business hours.

When I am told one thing, and then something completely different happens I am gonna be concerned.

Secondly this is absolutely horrible customer service, which is a business I am in. It's called over-promising, and under-delivering.

Regardless the point of the thread was to make sure that my order is OK, and I am not getting screwed. It sounds like this is the way CamAm does business, and I am stuck waiting.

wow, now cursing, disappointment, frustrated, impatient, hot headed,,...with assault rifles, again this is the recipe for disaster. did they say it was guaranteed to arrived on a particular date, if not, as long as it will be delivered. i ordered ammo on Jan. 5th then i e-mailed them if i could add couple of things that i forgot, received it on the 14th with all the thing that i added that was not on original order. great service! i can't complain, thanks canada ammo.

Why don't you cancel, leave Negative Feedback and buy elsewhere then? Just wondering. I agree, CanadaAmmo has been really slow the last few months, not sure why, but they are. I will wait as they save me a lot of money on ammo, as my local store here is outrageously priced.

They are the only place that has what I want and the order was processed this morning.

I dont care so much that they have been slow but dont tell me 3 days then take 8

Whatever. Its done. I'll get the gun and move on.

This was the second chance for them though and once again I feel dissapointed and I havent even got the gun yet.

Lets hope it goes well from here.........

Should we then imply the threads being created by people that just joined complaining about retailers are their competition trying to slag them? Get a grip

Wasn't their a thread or two posted by dealers informing slow processes due to time of year and associated events? Especially those referring to out of country exhibits and events? I'm sure I read a couple threads like that in December. Just saying, be. It's that time of the year.
