Well we went out on Monday and it was a rainy cloudy day...so a good day. Lots of decoys and ammo. The first flock came in and the two guys hit the two birds(Very small flocks this day) Of course I hit nothing! :? The next flock came in and I got the shot off before my BF got a chance to find the trigger. Down the bird went and I giggled like a school girl after my first kiss.
So that is my story. As for giving my BF shooting tips I will try it. I go shooting with one other female(her first year also) and we can talk the smack pretty good and hold our own. The only thing now they can do better is peeing in the bush :shock:

Actually, there is an item to solve that issue too. I'll see if I can find the outfit that makes it.
I think it's called the wizzer or something like that. Basically, it's a custom formed funnel with a hose. I understand it works quite well, but women have great difficulty adjusting to letting go standing up apparently.

John Y Cannuck, your right! Women in the military and deployed in the field, often use that product, I can't for the life of me think of the name of it, but I will have a look around...

Good for you gurly, I'm heading out mon, tues and wed, for my first goose hunt. I hope to have fun...........I've never really seen the draw to goose hunting but I think now that I got my moose and elk early this year, I gotta do something, I have a good friend coming up from Minnisota, he's nuts for goose shoosting! 3 days ago, it took almost a half hour for a whole herd of snows to fly over my acerage......there must have been at least 1500 - 2000. In the section my little hobby farm is on, I watch americans shoosting at geese a mile away, while hundreds are in the field behind my place!
