Mine was a pain in the ass,

it was easier to drill down ontop of the of the sight hood to expain the hole wide enough that I could get a pair of GOOD not made in china pliers down ontop of the post

Wrong. The top part is for elevation. It works for SKS/AK sight.

No problem. Sorry, it wasn't my intention to hurt anybody's feelings.
Actually, it's pretty crude and more often than not requires some grinding / filing / swearing just to fit it properly to the front sight (e.g. CZ/VZ windage).

Well, just read my post of this morning and my tribulations. I bought an el cheapo tool from a rip off place in Vancouver, cost me $20 because of $10 mailing fee. It was a piece of sh!t and even after grinding, filing, filling the threads with Teflon tape to get rid of the far too loose threads; furthermore, I could never get the windage adjusted using a copper drift and a hammer, either too much or too little.

And my SKS was in very good shape!

So listen to those who know as "know -it -alls" are unteachable!

Yes and there is everything needed to clean and disassemble the rifle with the addition of a loaded round. Just try it with weak, gnarly fingers some of us over 80 years have. This lack of strength is partially the reason that I lost my SKS spring.

And just stick your finger down the butt hole too far and have the flap grab your finger, not fun.
