Gentlemen, I am going through withdrawl. Coming from the rural southwest of Ontario, I have always killed the afternoons reducing the groundhog population....now I'm up here in Penetang, and can't seem to find 'em. Must be the fact that we are living on the shield here, and the hogs don't like making holes in granite :)

Anyway, is there anyone within an hour or so of me that has access to land where there are some hogs? If anyone wants to get together, I'll gladly put that individual on lots of deer this coming season, or on a big Tom next spring.

Anybody?

Most of this side of Simcoe County it's tough to find a groundhog anymore.
Coyotes have pretty much cleaned them out. Mount Forest area, Grey & Bruce counties is where you might want to look.

Grey county probably has the most in Ontario. Its all flat farm land.

prefect time of the year. Hay is getting cut or will be by this weekend. Babies are out in full force. I plan on gettin on the ones i missed last month.
