Seller thought it was a bayonet for a No 4 Mk 1 Enfield- Obviously not, but what is it? Tent pole base, flag pole stand??? May not even be military. Anybody care to enlighten?

Looks similar to the early Belgique FN FAL tubular bayonets, but I would need more/better pics ??
Waiting on more details from seller- he had a sporterized No 4 that his Grandpappy had, and this was stored along with it. He thought it was a bayonet for the No 4. I asked for more pictures (said to come apart in the middle , not sure what's inside) and hasn't gotten back to me on any markings. It's about 18-20" long altogether and of heavy construction.
Probably highly classified US navy SEAL equipment. If they used dolphins to hunt out mines, who's to say they didn't armour plate Narwhal tusks?

Pretty sure this came issued with a large set of cohones!! Never saw one of these before, is that called "Opener, Canned Milk, Mk 1 " ?
